Did the prediction actually need the wiring?
A connectome simulation that reproduces a drug effect looks like evidence for the connectome. Often it is not: the same effect can fall out of graph size, transmitter composition, or degree alone. FlyLab makes the wiring earn its place by comparing every prediction with null-model ensembles that keep progressively more network structure, and it reports "not distinguishable" as exactly that instead of as a quiet success.
