AppSweep can't find my apps

Make sure you've granted AppSweep access to your Applications folder:

  1. Open AppSweep
  2. Click "Grant Access" or go to Settings β†’ Folder Access
  3. Select your /Applications folder when prompted
  4. Click "Select" to confirm

Updates aren't being detected

Some apps may not be detected for various reasons:

  • The app doesn't use a supported update mechanism
  • The app's update feed is temporarily unavailable
  • You're already on the latest version

Try clicking "Refresh" to force a new scan, or report the missing app to us.

Update link won’t open or download failed

If an update link won’t open or a download fails:

  • Open the update link again from AppSweep
  • Check your internet connection
  • Ensure you have enough disk space
  • Try downloading again later (the server might be busy)
  • Check if the app's website is accessible
