Frequently asked questions
How does the measuring bar work?
Below the target slice, each ring is shown as a bar. The target width is an outline, and your own width is a bar drawn inside it. When they match, the bar turns green. That lets you read the width without counting pixels.
Why is the same card type sometimes wide, sometimes narrow?
Rings generally narrow as a tree ages, and some cards have an effect that lasts several years. A second drought right after the first, for instance, comes out narrower than a single one, because the tree builds up a kind of stress memory. A clearing or a wildfire also affect growth over several following years. So the card alone doesn't fix the ring's width — the sequence before it does.
How do I delete my progress?
In the app, go to Settings → Delete Progress. Alternatively, uninstall the app, which removes the locally stored save data as well.
Can I play without ads?
Yes. The “Remove Ads” in-app purchase removes all advertising permanently. Rewarded videos are optional to begin with, and their rewards stay available after the purchase. See the privacy policy for details.
Does the game work offline?
Yes. Ringjahr is fully playable offline and does not need an internet connection.
Do I need an account?
No. Ringjahr works without sign-in and without a user account.
