ShotSift is built with privacy at its core. All photo analysis happens entirely on your device. We don't collect, transmit, or store any of your photos or personal data.

Our Privacy Commitment

ShotSift is designed to respect your privacy. We believe your photos are yours and yours alone. That's why we've built the app to work completely offline with zero data collection.

What We DON'T Collect

Photos: Your photos never leave your device. Ever.
Photo metadata: We don't collect any information about your photos.
Personal information: We don't collect names, email addresses, or any identifying information.
Usage analytics: We don't track how you use the app.
Device information: We don't collect device identifiers or technical information.
Location data: We don't access or collect any location information.

How ShotSift Works

All photo analysis happens on your device using Apple's built-in Photos framework and Vision framework:

On-Device Processing: Every feature runs entirely on your iPhone or iPad.
No Cloud Uploads: Photos are never uploaded to any server or cloud service.
No Internet Required: The app works completely offline (except for iCloud photo downloads if you choose to enable them).
Local Storage Only: Scan results are stored only in your device's local app storage.

Permissions We Request

ShotSift only requests permissions that are essential for its functionality:

Photos Access: Required to scan your photo library and delete selected items. This permission is controlled by iOS and can be revoked at any time in Settings.

In-App Purchases

Premium features are available through a one-time in-app purchase. These purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or have access to your payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs these transactions.

Third-Party Services

ShotSift does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. There are no third-party SDKs integrated into the app.

Data Security

Since we don't collect any data, there's nothing to secure or breach. Your photos remain under your control at all times, protected by iOS's built-in security features.

Children's Privacy

ShotSift does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. The app is suitable for all ages.

Changes to This Policy

If we make any changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Since we don't collect any data, any future changes would only make our privacy protections stronger.
