Drive data

DiskLoom stores drive-health samples, device identifiers, monitoring events, and Time Machine readiness snapshots locally on your Mac. DiskLoom does not upload this information to DiskLoom servers.

Purchases and licensing

DiskLoom uses Gumroad for purchases and license delivery. License verification sends the Gumroad product ID and license key to Gumroad. Keys are stored in the macOS Keychain, routine checks occur no more than every seven days, and validated licenses work offline for up to 30 days.

Updates

DiskLoom uses Sparkle to check a configured HTTPS appcast for cryptographically signed updates. Standard web request information may be processed by the hosting provider.

Support reports

Reports are created locally. Serial numbers and device nodes are redacted by default. A report leaves your Mac only when you choose to share it.

Contact

Privacy questions can be submitted through GitHub Issues. Do not include private drive identifiers or license information in a public issue.
