Every milestone stays runnable.
NexusFS is staged as a vertical-slice project so the repository remains a usable system at each step, not a pile of disconnected prototypes.
Execution order
- Finish M1 by completing persistent local namespace state.
- Ship one real external facade in M2.
- Complete peer replication in M3.
- Layer in encryption and transparent proofs in M4.
- Add energy-aware scheduling and operational hardening next.
- Leave ZK-specific work until the practical baseline is dependable.
